the yachting harbour.
What is happening in the harbour? There are a number of industrial enterprises in Skive harbour. In the
yachting harbour there is a water sports centre with a kayak and rowing
club, sailing club, leisure-time fishing, water skiing club, diving club, winter
bathing club, and kayak polo club. The harbour provides the setting for the
Maritime Day, the Sailors’ Day and sailing races. Denmark’s longest
wooden bridge combines the harbour with the road Viborgvej – a
magnificent tour across the low meadow area. The path is part of the
nature cycling path Skive Naturcykelsti, a route of 28 km.
