Around the Limfjord in 80 ways
|
|
It is completely in the spirit of Phileas Fogg, when the Limfjord Land invites you to a holiday under the slogan “Around the Fjord in 80 ways”.
|
|
|
Of course it is not a round-the-world trip, but a round-the-Fjord trip is not to be disdained. Of course it will not take you 80 days to get all the way “from Hals to Harboøre” and back, but nevertheless there are more than 80 different ways of experiencing the Limfjord Land.
Listen to a good story!
The first 34 ways of experiencing the Limfjord Land consist of the 34 exciting Limfjord Tales, all of which are taking place according to the same weekly schedule throughout the entire summer holidays – and partly also in the winter, Easter, and autumn holidays.
The blue Limfjord
Of course the Limfjord must be experienced from the sea – you can handle the oars yourself or you can choose to just enjoy the waves from your comfortable seat onboard an old schooner.
The Limfjord at full sail: Go sailing for a couple of hours or go on a day’s trip on the Limfjord with an old schooner - a comfortable and relaxing trip for the whole family in which you can participate actively or just lean back and enjoy the beautiful view.
Join the pirates on the Limfjord: Embark on your own pirate expedition onboard “an old pirate ship”. Listen to real pirate stories and let your children go treasure hunting on the ship – maybe they will find a real treasure!
Seal safari around Livø: Take a trip to Livø with lots of opportunities to study the seals of the Limfjord, including a short stop on the island.
The Limfjord ferries: Experience the Limfjord onboard one of the small ferries, which crisscross the Limfjord from Thyborøn in the west to Hals in the east.
A personal mini-cruise: Set sails for the Limfjord and visit the many yachting harbours of the Fjord.
