|
Landting Manor is a place, which is full of history. Through 800 years, the manor has played a part in Danish history as the seat of several noble families with close contact to the Danish royal family.
For long periods of time, the family Rosenkrantz lived in Landting Manor, and the manor was one of the many estates owned by the family in Denmark and Scania.

Visit a duck farmer
Martin Daasbjerg runs Denmark’s largest organic duck production, and he will guide you through this Limfjord Tale. He will tell you about the history of the manor and about some of its previous owners, and he will offer you samples of the duck specialities. – Our concept covers the whole process from the incubation to the consumer. We call the concept “Danish Duck”, and we guarantee a first-class production, and we have made an arrangement with a very good German slaughterhouse so that we can offer a product of consistently high quality, says Martin Daasbjerg.
Own vineyard
Depending on the season you will get an opportunity to taste samples of specialities from the fjord. However, this is not all – with the organic duck, fish, and shellfish there will be samples of Daassbjerg’s own wine produced in Denmark. He has his own vineyard with all the classic French Alsace grapes – Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Sylvaner, Tokay, Muscat, Gewürztraminer, and Pinot Noir. Here, he takes care of the grapes, which produce between 450 and 900 litres of wine a year.
Storyteller
When Martin Daasbjerg has a moment of spare time he takes an interest in the history of the manor and the region. He is writing a book about the manors of the region and their history from the Middle Ages until today, and it is this knowledge that he passes on during your visit to Landting Manor.
